Patient Participation Group

Patient Participation Group Signup

The Patient Participation Group (PPG) is attended by local people who are patients of the Practice. It meets on a monthly basis to discuss relevant matters aimed at improving the health of the local population. A key objective is to gather opinions and feedback from the local patient population to improve the service and efficiency of the practice.

The group focuses on:

  • Health promotion
  • Strategic advice
  • Information provision
  • Volunteer services
  • Local fundraising issues
  • Promoting self-help
  • Patient Surveys & analysis

Members are expected to share their healthcare experiences with the group and should also be keen to consider and offer solutions on how to improve Customer Satisfaction and the general services offered by the practice.

The PPG is a constructive and pro-active forum which plays a valuable part of any GP surgery. It is not to be used as a vehicle for complaints as there are formal processes and procedures in place for that purpose.

The PPG is key to the current and future direction of the Practice & we are grateful for the time and commitment from our existing members.

If you wish to become a member of the PPG please complete the online form below or contact the present chairperson; Mrs Marian Kay on 01925-767772. You will be very welcome.
